This policy explains what information Taza2Go collects when you use this website to order food for pickup, how it's used and who it's shared with. We collect only what we need to take and prepare your order.
What we collect
- Order details: the items you choose, your customizations and special instructions, any promo code, and your pickup time.
- Contact details: your name and phone number, so we can identify your order and reach you about it, and your email address if you choose to give it (used for your payment receipt and emails about your order's status).
- Payment: card and other payment details are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form and go straight to Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We receive the payment status and the amount.
- Technical data: like most websites, our servers and hosting providers log basic request information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the service running.
How we use it
- To prepare your order, have it ready at your pickup time and contact you about it if needed.
- If you gave an email, to send you updates about this order: when it's received, being made, ready, or cancelled.
- To take payment, and to refund you if your order is declined or cancelled.
- To keep sales records and to prevent fraud and abuse.
We don't sell your information, use it for advertising, or send marketing messages. This website doesn't use analytics or advertising trackers.
Who we share it with
- Stripe, our payment processor, handles your payment details under its own privacy policy, and sends your receipt if you gave an email. The payment form may load its font from Google Fonts.
- Service providers that host this website and its data (website hosting, cloud servers, database and image storage) and our email delivery provider, which sends the order emails. They store and process information only to run the service for us.
- YouTube: the video on our homepage is embedded from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode. YouTube may receive your IP address and browser information when it loads.
- Authorities, if the law requires it.
Your browser
We save your cart, any promo code you entered and the order you're paying for in your browser's local storage, so they're still there if you reload the page. You can clear this at any time in your browser settings. Stripe may set its own cookies on the payment step to prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records, including your name, phone number and order details, as part of our sales and accounting records for as long as we need them for those purposes. Anyone with your order's tracking link can see its status and details, so please don't share it.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, using the contact details below. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it, for example for tax.
Children
This website isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top. See also our Refund Policy.
